Founder & President

Rick Bonen-Clark, owner of BC Financial Consulting, is a senior advisor with over 20 years experience in both industry and consulting environments, focused primarily on the finance function for companies he has served.  Over his career, he has developed significant expertise in internal audit & control design, external audit, acquisition due diligence, forensic accounting, shared services & accounting function design, and accounting training.  Rick has spent the past 15 years exclusively in industrial-type companies, working first for major US utility Duke Energy and then for manufacturer EnPro Industries.  Additionally, Rick has experience in multinational environments, working and living in Zurich, Switzerland for KPMG in transaction services, auditing Duke Energy subsidiaries in Latin America and Australia, designing shared services across Europe and North America for EnPro, and auditing European manufacturing facilities for current clients of BC Financial Consulting.  Rick is fluent in German and holds a BA in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
